Trial dredging schedule

Trial dredging is limited to a period of nine weeks and is scheduled to begin in early August. It will take place in both the south and north of Port Phillip Bay as well as a small section at the entrance to the bay.

Winter presents the most favourable conditions for working at the entrance to Port Phillip Bay and it is also outside peak tourist times.

A summary of the proposed schedule appears below and a map showing the trial dredging locations may be viewed.
