About the EESThe Environment Effects Statement (EES) was released on 5 July 2004 and was the culmination of two years of investigations. It should be noted that the reports represent the findings of studies as of that date and that further work has since been completed and used to inform the project. Following six weeks on public view for comment, the EES was then reviewed by an independent panel inquiry. A summary of the EES and the complete EES and its technical appendices may be downloaded from the links on this page. Please note: As these reports are large, they have been separated into a number of pdf documents. However, it should be recognised that some of these pdfs are still very large and will take some time to download via a dial-up modem.
