Port Melbourne Channel (North of Bay)
Vessel undertaking works: Queen of
the Netherlands
Dredge material placed in: Port of
Melbourne Dredged Material Ground
Visible outcomes of works: Turbid plumes can
expect to be seen in the vicinity of dredging works.
Please maintain a safe distance from dredging equipment at all
times. For information on restricted access areas around vessels
please follow this link.

Dredging works: Queen of the Netherlands is berthed
at F-Appleton
Dock for refuelling, supplies and a change of dragheads in
preparation for works at the Entrance of Port Phillip Bay
scheduled to start this Friday (4/4).
A sweep
barge and
tugboat are not expected
to continue sweep
operations today (2/4) in the Port Melbourne Channel and Port of
Melbourne Dredged Material Ground due to strong winds. |
