Dredging is currently occurring in:

The Entrance of Port Phillip Bay 

Vessel undertaking works: Queen of the Netherlands 

Dredge material placed in: South East Dredge Material Ground

Visible outcomes of works: Turbid plumes can expect to be seen in the vicinity of dredging works.

Please maintain a safe distance from dredging equipment at all times. For information on restricted access areas around vessels please follow this link.

Project Area 4: The Entrance

Dredging works: Queen of the Netherlands  is berthed at F-Appleton Dock for refuelling, supplies and a change of dragheads in preparation for works at the Entrance of Port Phillip Bay.

The vessel is expected to leave port tonight to start dredging the South Channel before commencing work at the Entrance around 7am tomorrow morning (5/4) and for the duration of the weekend.

Daily activity updates will be provided on weekdays outlining the planned works for the next 24 hours (am to am). The Friday daily activity update will outline the planned works for that day and the weekend to follow (Friday am to Monday am).
