Dredging is currently occurring in:
Port Melbourne Channel (North of Bay)
Vessel undertaking works: Queen of
the Netherlands
Dredge material placed in: Port of
Melbourne Dredged Material Ground
Visible outcomes of works: Turbid plumes can
expect to be seen in the vicinity of dredging works.
Please maintain a safe distance from dredging equipment at all
times. For information on restricted access areas around vessels
please follow this link.

Dredging works: Queen of the Netherlands returned to South Wharf this morning (17/3).
The vessel will be in port for approximately three days
for maintenance and refuelling.
A sweep barge and tugboat are expected to continue sweep
operations in the Port Melbourne Channel. These
work independent of the Queen of the Netherlands. |
