(CoZa)
Dredge material placed in:
South East Dredge Material Ground (Material from
Entrance)
Port of Melbourne Dredge Material Ground, Confined Aquatic
Disposal Facility (Material from Yarra River and Port Melbourne
Channel)
Visible outcomes of works: Turbid plumes can be
expected in the vicinity of dredging works.
Please maintain a safe distance from dredging equipment at all
times. For information on restricted access areas around vessels

Dredging works: Work has
commenced on preparing a pipeline that will place contaminated
materials in the bund. The grab dredge, Goomai,
will be connecting the pipeline so it will not be
dredging the Yarra River today (19 May).

Dredging works: The CoZa
continues operations in the Port Melbourne Channel
today (19 May). The vessel will carry out
the dredging and bund construction started by Queen of the
Netherlands earlier
this year. The CoZa will also
sail to South Channel East to dredge loads of sand for
hopper cleaning.
Dredged material will be placed in the Port of Melbourne
Dredged Material Ground.

Dredging works: Queen
of the Netherlands is scheduled to continue
dredging on the Nepean Bank at the Entrance of the
bay (19 May).
