Dredging works are scheduled to occur in existing shipping
channels of Port Phillip Bay until late 2009.
The dredging schedule available on this page outlines
the planned dredging activities for the duration of the
project and is subject to change. This dredging
schedule will be updated on a monthly basis.

About the dredge schedule
Dredging may occur outside planned areas for the purpose
of:
- collection of sand loads from South Channel to clean
hopper during bund construction
- relocation of dredge vessel(s) due to adverse weather
conditions, contingency actions to manage turbid plume,
and/or in response to variations in production rate
- operational requirements such as maintenance
Environmental limits and seasonal sensitivities have been
considered during the development of the dredging schedule.
