Channel Deepening Project remains on time and within budget as
Sunday marks the 500th day of operation of the Channel Deepening Project, Victoria’s largest marine infrastructure project and the biggest and most complex in the Port of Melbourne’s 150 year history.

Quarterly Project Report No.5 released - June 2009
This is the fifth Quarterly Project Report released by Port of Melbourne Corporation (PoMC) for the Channel Deepening Project (CDP) in which the dredging is just over three quarters complete and progressing on schedule.

Port moves another step closer to completing Channel Deepening Project
The Yarra River will reopen to commercial shipping 24-hours a day when traffic management restrictions introduced for the Channel Deepening Project are lifted on 15 May, ahead of schedule.
